Free Agents 2006.

As always, sadly it takes a final year of contract for some people to step up and the crop of players who see possible free agency at the end of next season is large. Hoopsvipe has a nice overview of all the players so I won´t repeat all those names here but just highlight the ones I believe might be in for a solid season due to this situation.

Stojakovic wants out of Sacramento, already requested that last season. He has a player option and he will have a great season again, probably worthy enough to be picked in the third round in your fantasy draft.

Joel Przybilla, what an end to last season he had and he will play in a similar fashion if given the minutes in Portland. For blocks there are few players who will be better next season plus he does fine in rebounds and scoring to merit pickup at around 60th place at draftnight.

Jason Terry Superb in the playoffs last year, not many other guards who will be Free agents next summer. Take him at 70 if available.

Bonzi Wells, at Sacramento he will have plenty of changes to drive to the hoop or post up. Is a solid player with a bad attitude but this coming season he will be picked around 70-80 in most fantasy leagues and it will prove to be a bargain.
